Formed in 2007, CRC Development is an Oakland, CA-based real estate development and investment company. With a combined experience of over 100 years, CRC's principals have expertise across the real estate spectrum and a long track record of providing superior returns to their investors.
With a particular focus on Oakland and other parts of the Bay Area, we take a conservative approach in identifying the best value-added and long term investment opportunities for our investors and partners.
CRC and its principals currently own and manage 1,400 single family, multifamily, and condominium rental units in Oakland, as well as over 250,000 square feet of commercial buildings in the surrounding Bay Area. With other active projects in the sales, conversion, construction or entitlement phases, CRC has vast experience in the development of properties in almost all sub-types.

2014 to 2017
Located in Oakland's Uptown neighborhood, 528 Thomas L. Berkley Way is comprised of 24 residential condominiums and 1 ground-floor live/work condominium. This five-story wood frame over concrete podium building includes large units, premium finishes and appliances, private decks and patios, washer-dryer in each unit, parking, and a large rooftop common area. Across the street from Uptown Station, other conveniences include a short walk to BART, the Fox Theater, Downtown, Lake Merritt, as well as all of the local nightlife and restaurants.
250 17TH STREET
2014 to 2015
Located in Oakland's Lake Merritt neighborhood on the corner of 17th and Alice Streets, CRC acquired this former office and day care property in Decmeber 2014. CRC obtained Planning entitlements for the property for 70 residential units and then resold the property to a larger developer in 2015, providing substantial returns to investors.
SINGLE FAMILY RENTALS & SALES
2009 to Present
CRC established three investment funds to acquire REO and short sale single family homes in Oakland. After initial rehabilitation the homes were rented to families and individuals at market rates. CRC concluded acquisitions in its third fund in the third quarter of 2012 purchasing a combined total of 135 homes. Following the sales of selected homes CRC continues to own, operate, and manage a portfolio of 115 single family rental units.

2013 to 2014
After acquiring this partially bank-owned condominium project in 2013, CRC guided the remaining unsold units through the Bureau of Real Estate recertifcation process and sold the units.
