CRC operates through the full real estate cycle — acquisition, entitlement, development, operations, and disposition. Five decades of Bay Area expertise applied across asset classes.

Development

Ground-up development from land acquisition through sellout or stabilization — including 528 Thomas L. Berkley Way, a luxury condominium community, and 1888 MLK, an 88-unit modular multifamily community. CRC's modular delivery experience spans design, factory coordination, and on-site execution.

Investment

Sponsors of five investment funds and dozens of single-asset entities across asset classes — including a single-family rental platform of roughly 150 Oakland homes. Full-cycle discipline: disciplined acquisition, hands-on operation, well-timed disposition.

Repositioning & Workouts

Distressed and complex situations, including San Pablo Heights — a partially sold condominium project acquired mid-stream, re-permitted through the California DRE, and successfully sold out.

Entitlement

Navigating Bay Area land use — from single-family and duet subdivisions to urban multifamily, including CEQA review and resource-agency permitting where site conditions demand it. CRC has entitled projects across Oakland and the North Bay, including Cherry Ranch, 1414 MLK, 623 15th Street, and 250 17th Street.

Asset & Property Management

CRC operates what it owns — and manages for others. Current management includes 1888 MLK, 2610 International Blvd, and third-party assignments at Shamrock Center, Fruitvale Gateway and 757-767 Lincoln Avenue, where ownership retained or engaged CRC for day-to-day operations.

Adaptive Reuse

Converting obsolete space to productive use, including 1480 Guerneville Road's transformation from showroom and warehouse to restaurant and supermarket.
