Matt began his real estate career more than 45 years ago and oversees the company's financing and investor relations. Since 1973, he has specialized in the brokerage and development of commercial and industrial properties. He has brokered investment properties and operational facilities for his clients in San Francisco and throughout the Bay Area and has represented major companies and developers in their acquisition needs. Matt has also managed the entitlement and development processes for retail, industrial, conversion, and renovation projects, ranging from a hanger at the Alameda Naval Air Station to a SoMA warehouse property into multimedia space, and the conversion and sale of over 300 apartment units to condominiums in Oakland. He is currently the managing member in investment entities that own commercial properties in the North Bay and more than 300 apartment units in Oakland.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Santa Clara University and is a past president of the SCU Alumni Association. He is an avid golfer and lives in San Francisco with his wife, where they raised their family.
